ANSILE KHUBEKA: He was very influential. Everyone in the world knows about him. That influence is very inspiring.

 

JOHN KRUGER: He brought about an amazing turnaround in South Africa. We are grateful for him.

 

ARENS SELEMA: He has changed many lives. We are free today because of Nelson Mandela and we need to appreciate that.

 

GIFT HLONGWANI: He taught us a lot of things. He taught us about being educated and to be responsible for ourselves. We can make it even if we start off with very little.

 

PRUDENCE MARIMANA: Him being black is the most important thing. He liberated us. Generations in the future will know about him.

 

MOHLATLEHO SEKOAILA: Madiba brought people together. We still have a long way to go but I think today we are equal.

 

MPHO ZALI: Madiba is still celebrated even after his death. His legacy makes me reflect on what I will leave behind when I am gone.

 

IPELENG MARIME: We have many opportunities today because of what he has done. He helped bring freedom to our lives. We need to make him proud.
