Linden Sector 3’s initiative to help with security for the elderly

LINDEN – A new initiative is taking place to help with security for elderly people who cannot afford it.

Linden Community Policing Forum (CPF) Sector 3 members, with the help of security companies, have embarked on a campaign to install security systems for elderly people who cannot afford them.

Hendri van der Loo of Linden CPF Sector 3 said, “What we have identified is that there is a need specifically for elderly individuals who cannot afford security, and we are looking at ways to install panic button systems for them.”

Van der Loo added that various security companies were willing to come on board for the initiative.
