Randburg SPCA received a sponsored vehicle

RANDBURG – Williams hunt Isuzu decided to give back to the community.

RANDBURG – A brand new vehicle has been sponsored to the Randburg SPCA by Williams Hunt Isuzu.

The idea was a joint effort between sales manager Riaan van Wyk and fleet sales executive Rachell Smit.

Van Wyk said, “One of Isuzu’s visions is that you have to be involved in your community – you have to give back. That’s something that makes us really proud, we want to give back to our community.”

Smit has had a lot of experience with the Randburg SPCA and adopted one of her dogs there, “Her heart is there and we felt that they needed the help,” added van Wyk.

Van Wyk and Smit went to the SPCA and talked to the Randburg SPCA manager Craig Rudman who said that ‘it was very humbling.’

Smit said, “The animals are close to our hearts and we really wanted to do something that was going to assist them.”

Isuzu is planning on having a food or blanket run at Wiliams Hunt Isuzu and would like the people of the community to come and drop off any off blankets or food.

Rudman said, “We are happy and excited to announce that Williams Hunt Isuzu sponsored the Randburg SPCA a vehicle for our inspectors. We are thankful and grateful for their sponsorship. We would like to express our deepest appreciation to Williams Hunt, to Rachel and Riaan for making this happen and to all our supporters and sponsors.”

Rudman concluded that the vehicle will mostly be used for cruelty investigations and outreach programs.
