Fernsix children hunt for eggs

FERNDALE – The Fernsix Residents Against Crime (Frac) association organised a fun Easter egg hunt for the children of their community.

Imagine that you are five years old again and hundreds of Easter eggs have been hidden in your local park and you had to find them.

How excited would you be? Well, that was the reality for the children of Ferndale Ext 6 during a community fun day on 20 April.

Excitement and anticipation filled the air as hundreds of Easter eggs were hidden in trees, under rocks and in holes for the little ones to discover during the hunt.

Frac’s Aida Musper said, “We organise this event with our community every year and I would like to give a big thank you to all involved. It was another success indeed and to all the kids and their mommies, the Frac committee, and everyone else, thank you.”
