Motorcyclist struck down by mini-bus taxi

BLACKHEATH – A minibus taxi and motorcycle collision leaves one moderately injured.


On Monday late afternoon, 30 September at 5.49 pm Netcare responded to reports of a collision on Beyers Naudé Drive in Blackheath

Reports from the scene indicated that a minibus taxi and a motorcycle were involved in a collision. “Medics assessed the scene and found the motorcyclist, an 18-year-old male, had sustained moderate injuries and required advanced life support intervention to stabilise him,” said Shawn Herbert, Media Liason Officer for Netcare 911.

All necessary authorities were on the scene.
