Lights outs for Randburg– a planned power outage
RANDBURG – The planned outage is scheduled for Monday, 7 October for maintenance work on the Randburg substation.
A planned power outage on Monday, 7 October will affect many areas in Randburg from 10pm to 12pm. City Power said in a statement the power interruption is for maintenance work on the Randburg substation.
It includes rewiring of a voltage transformer on the incomers.
The following areas will be affected:
- Blairgowrie
- Bordeaux
- Bryanston Ext 3
- Ferndale
- Ferndale Ext 3, 6, 8, 9, 13, 15 and 20
- Fontainebleau
- Malanshof
- Malanshof Ext 1, 2, 4, 5, 8 and 9
- Moret
- Moret Ext 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6
- Oerder Park
- Praegville
- President Ridge
- President Ridge Ext 6 and 7
- Randpark
- Randpark Ext 2, 3, 4 and 5
- Ruiterhof Ext 1, 2, 4, 5, 6 and 10
- Windsor Glen.
