Trinityhouse College Randpark Ridge celebrated a 100 per cent pass rate from their 2020 matriculants. The learners gathered at the school from 9am to 11am on 19 February to fetch their statement of symbols and celebrate their marks.

The school’s Class of 2020 achieved a 95 per cent bachelor’s degree pass and a 5 per cent diploma pass.
The principal of the high school Farone Eckstein said, “We want to congratulate the Class of 2020 for the immense fortitude that they have displayed in the face of an unprecedented year. Their resilience in the face of the Covid pandemic belies their youth and speaks volumes about their character. The Class of 2020 has exemplified the words of our schools war cry by standing proud in the face of this challenging year and has left a legacy that will not be forgotten. We wish them God’s richest blessings on what we know will be a successful future.”

Top achiever Jarred Kyle Feldman encouraged the Class of 2021 to take it one step at a time, “Don’t let things pile up because at the end of the day, consistency is what gets you good results.”

Feldman achieved a 93,85 per cent aggregate for his finals with distinctions in eight subjects namely; English, Afrikaans, mathematics, physics, life sciences, accounting, life orientation and advanced programme mathematics.

Other top achievers were: Ryan Dinwoodie, Alan Francis Clark., Thomas Aldrin Beyer, YunZhang (Shimmy) Chen, Rutendo Tamar Kandengwa, Liam Milella, Wenjian (Michael) Shi, Danica Celeste de Freitas, Claire Edith Kelly, Caitlin van den Berg who all received an average higher than 84 per cent and at least seven distinctions each.
