Four alleged courier robbers nabbed

HONEYDEW – Four alleged courier robbers were arrested in the Honeydew policing area on 23 February.


A joint operation between the Honeydew police and security companies has led to the successful arrest of four suspects in the Honeydew policing area on 23 February.

Honeydew police spokesperson Captain Balan Muthan said the police worked together to plan the operation after investigations led them to the gang’s whereabouts. He said that the allegedly armed suspects have been linked to at least four courier robberies during the month of February.

“We are certain that more cases will be linked to them. This is currently an ongoing investigation and no further information can be shared,” said Muthan.

He added that he wished to congratulate all police and security members on behalf of the station for the successful arrest of these suspects.
