Resident writes about the kindness a stranger showed her at Linden Police Station

Karen Bennett writes:

To the young lady having her fingerprints done at the Linden Police Station last Thursday.

Words cannot thank you enough for your spontaneous kindness towards me. I had spent three days at numerous police stations without any assistance and Linden was my last hope.

When I realised I didn’t have the R150 for the police clearance and I asked where the nearest ATM was, you silently came up to me and pressed the money into my hand. A complete stranger. What an act of kindness to a senior citizen.

Thank you, thank you. You’ve made me realise that acts of kindness really do happen.
