Bordeaux-based producer and rapper musically fuses the past and present
The local young musical prodigy has evolved through his musical talents.
His stage name is Savio but home affairs would know him as Dominic Muembo.
This young musical prodigy is a producer and rapper based in Bordeaux.
With his ‘love at first sight’ being music, Savio shared how he has evolved through his first love.
“I was first drawn to music at the tender age of six and took a special interest in the genre of hip hop when I was 13. My journey to producing music started in my late teens and has evolved ever since then,” he said.
“Being able to produce a wide array of genres ranging from hip hop and R&B to future beats and electronic soul, constant innovation and creative merging from an eclectic range of genres are all a part of my creative process.”
He added he would release his debut instrumental EP through the established media house Content Create Africa.
“The body of work will be structured to feel like a listening experience and will encapsulate my eagerness to delve into multiple genres from life and future soul to 70s-inspired Afro beat and 60s-inspired jazz all while incorporating modern grooves to create a fresh new blend of the old and the new.”
