Local forum relaunched after three years of not operating
The organisation launched new programmes such as small business development with the aim of teaching and supporting women with starting their own businesses.

Cosmo City Women’s Forum reopened after three years of not operating.
The reopening of the organisation, which has 82 members, took place at Cosmo City Multipurpose Centre on April 22.
This comes after it previously stopped hosting activities due to Covid-19 regulations and continued to do so even after the pandemic ended.
From 2020, when the pandemic started, the group had to stop hosting activities such as GBV campaigns, sanitary pads donations, cleaning for the elderly people, distribution to needy families and adhering to the measures that were put in place to combat the virus.
The organisation, which was started in 2016, aims to offer women an opportunity to voice out their life experiences and educate young girls about the hardships women encounter on a daily basis.
Members of the forum and the residents were extremely excited about the rebirth of the club.
