While other high schools were celebrating their matric results, Northriding College welcomed their first-ever matric class.
This marked a historic moment on the first day of the school year with the inauguration assembly for its matrics. The campus was filled with excitement as the Grade 12 learners, adorned in their new matric jackets, gathered to kick off this significant academic milestone.
The assembly commenced with an inspiring speech from the school’s principal, Hesna Muller, who said, “I stand before you today with an overwhelming sense of joy and anticipation as we embark on a new academic year filled with infinite possibilities and boundless potential.”
“We welcome our Grade 12 class – the trailblazers, the leaders of tomorrow. The journey of education is not merely about academic pursuits, it is a transformative experience that unveils the brilliance, talent, and power that lies within each one of us.”
During the assembly, the school announced the leaders of the inaugural Grade 12 class, recognising individuals who will guide and inspire their peers throughout the academic year.
Following the ceremony, a small celebration unfolded, bringing together teachers, parents, and students in a joyous atmosphere. The clinking of champagne glasses echoed through the air as parents captured the memorable occasion with photos.
