This event marks the lead-up to the Empowamen International Men’s Day Summit, scheduled for November 16, where a broad range of groups working on issues from men’s mental health to mentorship will come together. With the theme Zero Suicide in Men, the summit will address the complex challenges impacting men and boys today, focusing on issues such as mental health, addiction, and redefining masculinity.

As part of the gathering, Empowamen launched the Bring Your 200 initiative, inviting leaders to bring 200 men from their networks to the summit. The leader with the highest turnout will receive R10 000 to donate to a charity of their choice, with an additional R5 000 to support their cause.
