AfriForum and Unika Voortrekkers donate 150 trees to local institutes

Local institutes and community members received trees from AfriForum, in collaboration with Unika Voortrekkers and Stodels Garden Centre at Ferndale on Republic.

National AfriForum branches have aimed to create hope and plant more than 2 000 trees.

AfriForum is a non-profit civil rights organisation established for a safer society for its members, supporters, and other citizens. In collaboration with Unika Voortrekkers, Stodels Garden Centre at Ferndale on Republic contributed 150 trees to the community.

With this great contribution AfriForum and Unika Voortrekkers can make a significant impact in the environment and ensure a greener future for everyone.

Stodels Garden Centre at Ferndale on Republic contributed 150 trees to the community.

These indigenous trees were donated to the following institutions:

• Tshepo Community Development,
• Linden SAPS,
• Laerskool Unika,
• Hoërskool Randburg,
• Silverstream and Ekklesia Retirement Homes,
• Domus Dei Church, and
• Reform Church Diepsloot.

The remainder of the trees were donated to community members to encourage all to make sure that indigenous trees thrive in their natural surroundings.
