Blairgowrie line dancers celebrate love at Valentine’s Day social
Rainbow Line Dancing hosted a vibrant Valentine’s Day social, bringing together locals for a joyful celebration filled with music, dancing, and friendly connections at the Blairgowrie Recreaction Centre.

Blairgowrie residents embraced the Valentine’s spirit at a lively social event held at the Blairgowrie Recreation Centre on February 15. Organised by Rainbow Line Dancing, the event brought together dance enthusiasts for an afternoon of fun, music, and community bonding.

Dressed in red and white, attendees filled the venue from 11:00 to 15:00, enjoying an exciting mix of line dancing and socialising. The event, which cost R50 per person, created a warm and welcoming atmosphere for both seasoned dancers and newcomers. The upbeat music and enthusiastic crowd made it a memorable experience for all.
To keep energy levels high, popcorn, water, and soft drinks were available throughout the event. Many attendees expressed their delight at the well-organised gathering, with some already looking forward to future socials hosted by Rainbow Line Dancing.

Leon Nel, the dance instructor at Rainbow Line Dancing, said: “This is such a good way for people, especially the elderly, to connect and engage with people who have similar interests.”
