The winning trophy was won by the HBC team consisting of Lyn Peens, Jeanette Nadel, Tony Nadel, and was presented to them by Natalie Austen, niece to Lewis-Williams.
Every year, funds raised at the tournament are donated to the association, a charity close to Joss’s heart.
The tournament marked the eight year of support for the association and to date, the club has donated R46 500.

Pieter van Niekerk, from SA Guide Dogs, thanked the bowling club for their unwavering support over the years. “The club is now partnering with us for approximately 8 years through their Allan Lewis-Williams tournament each year. Their contributions are making a huge impact in providing necessary funding to continue training guide dogs for the visually impaired, service dogs for mobility impaired, and autism support dogs for children on the high support autism spectrum specifically between the ages of 5 to 12 years.” He added that it’s partners such as these that enable them to continue with the life-changing provision of mobility, independence, and companionship to members of the communities living with special needs.
