Nova Pioneer learner flies the South African flag high at international chess tournament
Nova Pioneer North Riding Grade 3 learner Atlehang Malemane takes her chess game to the highest level.
Nova Pioneer North Riding is beaming with pride as Grade 3 learner Atlehang Malemane is representing South Africa at an international chess championship in Rhodes, Greece.
Atlehang, a bright and determined young mind, secured her place on the South African national team after delivering an exceptional performance at the regional leg of the tournament earlier this year.

Her remarkable strategic skill and mental agility earned her a coveted spot to compete on the global stage among the world’s best young chess players.
She departed South Africa on April 11 to join fellow South African chess prodigies in Rhodes.
