Strong wins for Rand Park netball girls

A strong showing from Rand Park netball teams saw multiple victories over Hoërskool Florida, with players proving their talent and dedication on the court.

Rand Park High School’s netball teams delivered an impressive performance against Hoërskool Florida on Wednesday, May 7, showing great skill, teamwork, and school spirit.

The matches saw Rand Park teams securing wins across most age groups, with the players showing both determination and sportsmanship on the court.

“Yesterday, our netball girls upheld the motto of integrity and commitment to their school and their sport. Their love and support for their teams shone through, and their encouraging spirit was really something to behold,” said Christelle Le Roux, the school’s netball master-in-charge.

The first team led the way with a solid 32–16 victory, followed by the second team, who triumphed 34–3. Other standout results include: U17A, winning 35–4, U15A, dominating 39–2, and U14D, rounding off the day with a confident 13–4 win.

Despite two tough games for U16A and U16B, who lost 1–17 and 3–19 respectively, the overall results reflected the depth and strength of the netball programme at Rand Park.

Second Team: Won 34–3
U17A: Won 35–4
U16A: Lost 1–17
U16B: Lost 3–19
U15A: Won 39–2
U15B: Won 23–1
U15C: Won 16–5
U14A: Won 15–7
U14B: Won 23–11
U14C: Won 13–9
U14D: Won 13–4

The school congratulated all players and coaches for their hard work and excellent results. Their efforts continue to raise the standard of netball at Rand Park, with strong hopes for the rest of the season.
