Motorcyclist injured in Republic Road collision incident
A motorcyclist sustained minor injuries after a collision with a light motor vehicle on Republic Road, with medical services attending and no traffic delays reported.
A motorcyclist sustained minor injuries following a collision with a light motor vehicle on Republic Road earlier today.
Beagle Watch officer Moses Thoka, said the motorcycle rider had the right of way at the time of the crash.

“The traffic was going up towards Main Road, and the motorbike had the right of way. The driver was supposed to stop and allow him to pass, but he didn’t wait and just went out,” said Moses.
He confirmed that the motorcyclist was injured but did not appear to be seriously hurt.
“The guy on the bike has injuries, but I think they are minor. He was assisted on scene, and it didn’t look like a critical situation,” he said.
Moses added that the accident did not cause any traffic delays, as the road remained clear after the collision.

“There was no traffic at all. Everything was clear,” he said.
Ambulance services and breakdown assistance responded to the scene. Moses confirmed that no police officers or other authorities were present at the time.
Only medical personnel and breakdown services attended to those involved. The full extent of damage to the motorcycle and the other vehicle was not confirmed.
