Clearance certiicates are ready for collection at Honeydew Police Station
The pile of police clearance certificates ready for collection have been building up at the station.
Honeydew police are urging community members to come fetch their police clearance certificates from the station.
Spokesperson Captain Balan Muthan said the station has seen a build-up of documents as residents fail to collect the clearances after applying for them in weeks and months past.
“Normally they take four to six weeks to be ready but load-shedding leaves the system down every time so there is a bit of a backlog,” he said.
“Still, we already have a lot waiting for collection, and some clearances have come from other areas and can be collected here.”
The admin blocks at the station are open 08:00 until 13:00 on weekdays.
