In Boskruin, Lesley Road and Boschkop Street are affected. “Johannesburg Water apologises for any inconvenience and disruption this may cause and appreciates your patience during this period,” he said. Ward 134 councillor Devon Steenkamp said that it has been a frustrating period for the residents.

He said that Joburg Water has informed him that the reason why these areas have been experiencing issues is that they’ve identified that a large bulk supply line from the Boschkop reservoir has a leak in it, and that’s causing supply issues to these areas.“They say that they’re working with the Roodepoort depot to see when they are going to be doing repairs.
