The Kings School Robin Hills wishes residents a blessed holiday
The Kings School Robin Hills CEO, Mike Marais, looks back at the year and wishes the community happy holidays.
Mike Marais, CEO of The Kings School Robin Hills, urges all families to keep Christ at the centre of their celebrations this season, and continue to shine brightly for Christ and make his love known to those around them.
One of his highlights, and the best moment in 2024, was the school’s 40th birthday celebration. The founding members and alumni gathered for a gala dinner and enjoyed a creative showcase, including music, dance, and acting from the learners.
“We were thrilled to celebrate our 40th birthday. It was so good to reconnect with many individuals, who were here 40 years ago when our school started in humble beginnings in a home with a handful of learners. We celebrated God’s faithfulness and favour to our school over the last 40 years, and are so grateful for our established school with our beautiful facilities in the heart of Robin Hills.”

He continued that it was also wonderful to see the success and impact of their alumni, making a positive difference in their various spheres of influence.
Explaining how 2024 was, he said their theme for the year was: ‘Connected’, and they wanted to see the learners and families more connected to God and to one another.
“We did this through our many parent gatherings, various community service initiatives, and opportunities for our learner to connect with one another on the sports field, in the classroom, on the playground, on the stage, and during exciting excursions and camps.”
The Grade 12 Class of 2024 wrote sport and exercise science as a subject for the very first time, which was exciting and challenging at the same time.

“We are looking forward to seeing the results and having this subject grow from year to year. It is exciting and challenging to break new ground.
“We trust for God’s grace and provision for all of our families as they go into 2025, in anticipation of our spiritual theme for 2025 which is: ‘Grace’, based on Ephesians 2:8. ‘For it is by grace that you have been saved, through faith – and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God,” added Marais.
