Traffic advisory: Spionkop Avenue in Northriding is muddy mess
Persistent rains have left Spionkop Avenue an unsafe, muddy mess. Motorists and residents have been urged to avoid the area.
Johannesburg Roads Agency (JRA) has cautioned motorists to avoid Spionkop Avenue in Northriding.
According to the agency, the gravel road is currently unsafe due to excess mud in the area caused by recent rainfall.
While JRA has plans to begin grading operations once rainfall has subsided, residents living in Spionkop Avenue are encouraged to use Aureole Avenue to gain access to the area.
Motorists, and residents alike, are urged to remain safe while the agency awaits the end of rainfall before repairs can begin.
