The Crusaders defeated the hosts 4–1 in the match held at Ferndale High School, securing their position at the top of the league table. An early goal from midfielder Phillip Modiba gave Crusaders control of the game and kept the host side on the back foot (1–0). Godspeed struggled to keep things together and deal with the visitor’s high pressure, speed, and power.

The visitors played a route 1 type of football that frustrated the hosts. The home side could not deal with the high balls, and Crusaders took full advantage of it. Simba Zvimba struck again to give the visitors a second goal of the game with yet another long throw ball that resulted in a goal (2–0).

In control of the match, the Crusaders had two more opportunities to wrap the game up, but Maishe Makwela was let down by finishing on both occasions. The visitors were caught with a quick transition, and Thato Semouse got Godspeed back into the game with a cool finish to make it 2–1.

However, Godspeed failed to clear their lines again, and with the long throw ball, it fell to Zvimba, who finished it with ease before halftime (3–1).

With three goals up, the visitors came back guns blazing in the second stanza, creating chances, but Moloi Sechaba was brilliant in goal, keeping his side in the game.

Crusaders made changes in the game, added more speed forward, and stabilised their midfield. Lebohang Thwala broke the Godspeed defence and scored the fourth goal for Crusaders, sealing all three points (4–1).
