Faith and Inspiration Drive Wonder Woman Gathering

From business leaders to young believers, hundreds of women united under one purpose at the Wonder Woman Conference to be equipped for a life beyond limits.

Women from across South Africa gathered at the Oasis Christian Assembly in Randburg for the highly anticipated Wonder Woman Conference 2025, a vibrant event dedicated to empowering women to live a life “beyond limits.”

Hosted by Pastor Bernadette Mutondoro, the annual conference has become one of the most celebrated events on the church’s calendar, drawing hundreds of women for a weekend of spiritual growth, inspiration, and transformation.

Akhona Qengqe, the first black female Managing Director of KFC Africa and founder of Women in Franchising Africa, was among the speakers at this year’s event. She described the conference as a powerful platform for women to strengthen their faith and find strategies for success.

“It’s about living a life beyond limits,” said Qengqe. “To do that, we need inspiration from the Word of God and from other women who’ve exercised their faith and seen the results. This platform gives us that opportunity.”

Qengqe, who has attended the conference for several years, said it has deeply impacted her own journey.

“I’ve seen how my life has been transformed through Wonder Woman. God has taken me from one level of glory to another, and that’s why I couldn’t miss this year’s conference,” she added.

Pastor Genevéve Chadehumbe, a full-time staff member at Oasis Christian Assembly, explained that the conference serves as an “upgrading experience” for women in every area of life from family to business and faith.

“This is one of our biggest annual gatherings,” she said. “It’s a time of impartation for women to get both mental and spiritual equipping. Living beyond limits means you can do anything you set your mind to. There are no boundaries when you walk in faith.”

For attendee Tinashe Kanyungwe, who travelled from the Pretoria branch to attend, the event was more than a gathering; it was the result of months of prayer and preparation.

“We prayed and fasted for this day,” she said. “By the time it arrived, our hearts were ready for what God wanted to do. We came to collect grace and testimonies from other women reminded us that nothing is impossible.”

Deaconess Tendai Ratisai, who has been part of the ministry for 17 years, reflected on the long-term impact of the conference and Pastor Mutondoro’s teachings.

“I’ve watched Pastor B transform lives through divine strategies that bring real change,” she said. “She teaches that living a limited life comes from ignorance. God created women to be fruitful, productive, and strong. This programme reminds us of that truth.”

Ratisai added that the conference’s message is especially vital in today’s society.

“In a time when many face unemployment, gender-based violence, and mental health struggles, the Wonder Woman programme opens our minds and hearts to see ourselves as God sees us,” she said. “It’s a divine intervention that equips us to rise above circumstances and live a new life of purpose.”

As the theme “Living Beyond Limits” echoed throughout the event, one thing became clear: Wonder Woman Conference 2025 was not just a celebration of faith, but a call for women to rise, shine, and impact their communities with strength and confidence.
