Cresta Shopping Centre and Windsor Community Support Service collaborate in a meaningful initiative

Cresta Shopping Centre hands over donations to the Windsor Community Support Service (WCSS), which will be distributed to schools in the area.

Cresta Shopping Centre strengthened its relationship with the community as it handed over donations of stationery and clothing to Windsor Community Support Service (WCSS).

The centre collected the back-to-school elements from shoppers.

Some of the things donated included brand new school uniforms, shoes, backpacks and more.  They work closely with WCSS, and this forms part of the initiative to give back to the Cresta area. They also fund the WCSS so it can continue paying the workers who clean the streets of Windsor.

WCSS community liaison manager Mathabo Bekimbia-Tchoffo thanked Cresta for their support.

“On behalf of Windsor Community Support and the communities we serve, we would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the Cresta marketing team for their generous donations towards the back-to-school drive. Your commitment to supporting education and uplifting our local learners is truly commendable.”

She confirmed that the donated school supplies will directly benefit local early childhood development (ECD) centres, Tshepo Lesedi aftercare and Robin Hills Primary School.
