Meat World Jackal Creek celebrates five years of flavour and community

Meat World Jackal Creek gave back to the community as they celebrated the five-year milestone in style.

The parking lot was buzzing with excitement as the community gathered to celebrate five incredible years since Meat World Jackal Creek first opened its doors.

From early morning, shoppers turned up, greeted by the smell of grills and the sound of good music. Hot 102.7 FM was also broadcasting live outside the shop. Banners and balloons marked the milestone, welcoming everyone to a day of unbeatable specials and unforgettable fun.

Inside, trolleys filled quickly as customers grabbed anniversary deals.

Excitement carried through the aisles as staff members joined in the celebratory spirit, sharing high-fives and warm smiles.

Wearing their blue and white uniforms, they made sure that everything ran smoothly and shoppers had a wonderful experience.

One of the biggest highlights was the famous Balloon Room. Participants stepped into the air box, trying to grab as many vouchers as they could as they flew wildly around them. Spectators gathered around, cheering and laughing as contestants tried to grab as many prizes as possible.

Outside, the crowd cheered during the hot dog-eating challenge.

Six contestants lined up and were tasked with finishing 20 hot dogs, with R5 000 up for grabs. The mood was electric as shoppers cheered loudly for the participants.

Managers Leandro and Lino Leitao said that the celebrations were part of giving back to the community and to thank their loyal customers.

“We opened mid-Covid, and it was a bit rough, but through the years, we have seen new faces, we basically grown to the family with our loyal customers, we know them by name now.

We have been blessed for the five years we have been here,” said Leandro.

This was more than a celebration of five years in business. It was a celebration of loyalty, laughter, and the community that makes Meat World Jackal Creek feel like home.

Lino concluded that the day was a big success, and customers enjoyed the specials and the vibes outside the shop.
