Sheriff Fanie Venter said legal documents had been served on the occupiers on April 8, instructing them to vacate the premises. When they failed to do so, the court authorised officials to proceed with the eviction. “These people are illegal occupiers. They were informed that they have to move out, but they did not comply, so there are no further steps for them. They must just look for alternative accommodation for themselves.”
