Beyers Naude partially closed as Zandspruit marchers gather

A peaceful march in Zandspruit has resulted in the partial closure of Beyers Naude Drive, with traffic blocked in the direction of Honeydew Police Station.

One side of Beyers Naude Drive, in the direction of Honeydew Police Station, has been closed after Zandspruit residents marched in support of March and March’s June 30 deadline.

The Randburg Sun can confirm that protesters are peaceful, though they are blocking one side of the road. Motorists travelling towards Honeydew are advised to seek alternative routes while the march continues.
