Randburg Harriers runners raise money with Moustache Run
MULANSHOF – Runners of Randburg Harriers Running club support the Movember Foundation.
The Randburg Harriers Running club hosted their weekly time trial on 27 November with the theme Moustache Run.
The runners of the club took to the streets of Randburg to complete their 5km or 8km time trial run.
In order to liven up the event, organiser Zoë Dorothy Brentano decided on the Moustache Run theme.
Runners were asked to sport their biggest moustaches for the great cause.
People were seen running with natural and not so natural furry upper lips and even wore them on their clothes.
The event raised some money that was donated to the Movember Foundation, which supports the awareness of health risks faced by men.
The best time was achieved by Tshilidzi Mudau with a time of under 18 minutes.
Each Thursday the club start their courses at 5.45pm and Saturday from 7am to 8am, starting at the Randburg Sports Complex’s main field.
