Randburg cricketer shines for Scotland
PRAEGVILLE – Chris Greaves captains Randburg Cricket Club's premier league team when he is not winning matches for Scotland.
Randburg Cricket Club is proud of how its premier league captain is performing for Scotland in the T20 World Cup in the United Arab Emirates.
Chris Greaves was awarded man of the match in his first game for Scotland, as the underdogs caused an upset against Bangladesh in the qualifiers.

The all-rounder scored 45 runs off 28 balls and picked up two wickets with the ball in the match, and then helped the side win their next two games to make it three out of three.
This secured Scotland qualification for the Super 12s, where teams such as South Africa, Australia and India had received automatic qualification because of their International Cricket Council rankings.
The leg-spinning all-rounder captains Randburg Cricket Club’s strongest team when he is not fulfilling his national duties.
“I have coached Chris at premier league level for the last three seasons and I can say he is a very passionate player,” said Randburg Cricket Club’s Alister Zowe.

“He is always determined to succeed, both as an individual and as a team. He has been the best captain we have had. Everyone enjoys playing under him and he gets the best out of his players.”
Scotland will play in group two of the Super 12s along with Afghanistan, India, New Zealand, Pakistan and the runners-up from qualifying Group A – which will probably be either Ireland or Namibia.
