Sharonlea Primary proud of budding soccer star who played in Portugal

The prestigious tournament in Madeira included 28 teams in the U13 division.

Sharonlea Primary School is proud of Grade 6 learner Jordan Khotha who recently played soccer at a prestigious tournament in Portugal.

His soccer club, Starlets School of Excellence Academy played in the fourth edition of the Cristiano Ronaldo Campus Youth Tournament, held in Madeira in June and July. Jordan competed in the U13 division and his team finished 24th out of 28 sides. He earned a participatory medal.

School principal, Judy Ayres said, “We are very proud of Jordan’s achievement and it is a pleasing result when our learners do so well. We wish him all the best for his future in soccer.”
