Stars of Africa refused to back down and regained the lead in the second half, leaving Crusaders with more work to do. True to their fighting spirit, the home side continued to battle, refusing to throw in the towel despite the mounting pressure.

With the momentum swinging in their favour, the visitors stepped up their attacking efforts, punishing Crusaders’ defensive shortcomings with two quick goals to extend their lead to 4–2.

The home team struggled to regain their rhythm but managed to pull one goal back, briefly raising hopes of a late comeback. Those hopes were quickly dashed when the visitors struck again to seal a dramatic 5–3 victory.
