Firlands Children’s Home hosts annual fête
Enjoy a fun filled day with the family at The Salvation Army Firlands Children's Home fete on 30 August.
The Salvation Army Firlands Children’s Home will host their annual fête in Linden on 30 August.
As in previous years, this fundraiser promises many exciting activities for families and friends.
Among a wide range of stalls, there will be tons of child-friendly events like Barney, rides, games and even a travelling zoo.
For the more adventurous folk, there will be skydivers, a dog show and various other entertainers.
The Firlands Children’s Home was established in 1923 and holds 60 children that attend 11 different schools.The home is responsible for their overall wellbeing, and is reliant on the fundraising from this event.
Entrance is free and there is paid parking on the grounds.
This day seeks to not only entertain you and your family, but to ensure the longevity of Firlands Children’s Home.
