Residents express their concerns about the decline of the city of Johannesburg
Once regarded as one of the top destination cities in Africa, Johannesburg has been declining recently – we asked residents if they felt Johannesburg was in a crisis.
Here is what they had to say:
I think we are in a crisis because a lot of things aren’t taken seriously for example people can hijack buildings now and crime is always on the rise, and the streets are dirty with blocked drains which also leads to water-shedding.
