Join in on Hooves and Harmony readers’ event

A boutique wellness retreat combining movement, mindfulness and majestic performance horses offers readers a rare chance to unwind in nature.

Pilates. Horses. Wellness. Giddy up, girls … we’re throwing a Hooves and Harmony Day, and you will want to be there!

Join the Get It Joburg West team for their readers’ event – a day of Pilates, a wellness walk and mindfulness. Add a stable of stallions, a couple of retail therapy pop-ups and a fantabulous goodie bag, and it’s going to be one sublime experience after another.

Held at a rather special stud farm, just an hour or so’s drive out of town, this is a wellness experience designed to nourish the body, calm the mind and reconnect you with nature through movement, mindfulness and the healing presence of horses.

The morning will kick off with welcome herbal teas, coffees and infused waters, along with a healthy morning snack. Pilates in nature will be led by a qualified instructor and will be suitable for all fitness levels.

Then comes the wow moment: A performance horse demonstration by the national champion horses of Bridgewaters Horse Park. You’ll be able to feed and interact with the horses, with exceptional photo opportunities, too. And besides taking your own social media photos, a professional photographer will be there to capture all the joy. You’ll receive individual and group photographs afterwards.

During the day, a light and nutritious lunch, along with wine, will be served. You’ll leave rested, calmed and restored — with a yoga mat and a goodie bag. An event like this needs to be intimate, so we’re restricting it to just 30 guests.
