Toekomsrus to host another anti-drug campaign

Parents Against Drug Abuse (PADA) will be embarking on an anti-drug campaign on 22 June at the Randfontein Secondary School in Toekomsrus.

During this time, PADA will be strengthening their fight against drug abuse in the area and table possible ways to fight the scourge that continues to spread among the youth.

In their efforts, the organization will have ex-drug edicts who will give their own testimonies about taking drugs and the consequences thereof.

Other guests to be present at the event are Mrs SA finalist Ezelle Andrews as well as other motivational speakers.

According to Pada, the community of Toekomsrus needs to be the change they want to see and that can only be done through being active citizens.

“We appeal to the community of Toekomsrus and other areas in Randfontein to come to this anti-drug campaign and show support.”
