Tshiamo among SA’s top U13 hockey players after silver finish
The Gr 7 learner’s dedication and teamwork helped his side secure a place among the country’s leading U13 hockey teams.
Young hockey talent Tshiamo Motubatse has added another impressive milestone to his sporting journey after representing the Southern Gauteng U13 Hockey team at the Interprovincial Hockey Tournament held in Johannesburg from June 27 to July 1.
The Grade Seven learner from Randfontein Primary School competed against some of the best young players from across the country, showcasing his skill, determination and teamwork throughout the tournament. His efforts, alongside those of his teammates, paid off as the Southern Gauteng side advanced to the finals.
In a highly competitive tournament, the team delivered strong performances to secure a second-place finish, earning a silver medal and placing them among the top U13 hockey teams in South Africa.
