Join the Bacon and Egg Toastmasters Club today

Braving the crisp cold morning experienced in the Highveld during the winter times, members of the Bacon and Egg Toastmasters Club gathered at The Huguenot Restaurant at Flora Centre.

This meeting was once again a great success. The theme presented by Janien Boucher was ‘an attitude of gratitude’.

Accordign to one of the club representatives, Glen Campbell, Bacon and Egg Toastmasters meets at 8.15am on a Saturday mornings.

“This means that there is no travelling at night and after a hearty breakfast we have the rest of the day to do our weekly shopping and other activities,” says Glen.

He adds that although they are not a club situated in the Randfontein area, they have members who live in Randfontein and wants to get the Randfontein community more involved in the club’s activities.

Becoming a Toastmaster introduces one to life experiences at all levels. These meetings are great fun and enable people to come together to learn about life in general and develop a positive attitude.

“Each member of our club attends for different reasons. Some attend to develop in the work place where they are given positive assistance on how to present at top level. Others attend to socialize and mix with different people and learn about various outlooks on life; all from a positive angle.

Many of our members are community conscious and their aim is to help others to achieve their maximum potential in life,” says Glen.

Everyone is welcome to attend as a guest. Come and experience a meeting and then make a decision as to whether you wish to join.

“We all enjoy a hearty breakfast of bacon and eggs to warm us up before the meetings and afterwords, the rest of the day is yours,” he says.
