Zion Centre expands to Dan Tloome after successful revival

Weekly services will launch at a local community hall after hundreds gathered for worship and renewal.

Zion Centre is expanding its ministry to Dan Tloome following a week-long church revival crusade that saw more than 200 people dedicate their lives to the Lord.

The revival, held from October 5–9, brought together members of the community for a week of worship, prayer and spiritual renewal.

Zion Centre, which already has church branches in Finsbury and Mohlakeng, identified the need to establish a presence in Dan Tloome to reach more people in the community.

Church leader Apostle Lebogang Lebeko described the revival as one of the best services the church had hosted, highlighting the number of people who responded to the message of salvation.

Lebeko claimed that people had also experienced deliverance from issues troubling them and healing through their faith in Jesus Christ.

Following the revival, the church has committed to continuing its work in Dan Tloome, with a focus on helping new believers grow in their faith and strengthening the local congregation.

New Sunday services

“Our aim now is to stay and ground people in the Lord,” Lebeko said.

As part of this commitment, Zion Centre will hold services every Sunday at 15:00 at the Dan Tloome Community Hall.

The establishment of regular services marks the next step in the church’s efforts to build a lasting presence in the area and provide residents with an opportunity to worship and grow spiritually within their own community.

Lebeko said the success of the revival had encouraged the church to continue reaching people in Dan Tloome and supporting those who had made a commitment to their faith.
