Randfontein welcomes Meals on Wheels
The well known non-profitable organisation, Meals on Wheels opens their doors in Randfontein, making Randfontein the first West Rand branch of Meals on Wheels.

The well known non-profitable organisation, Meals on Wheels, will open their doors in Randfontein in July.
According to the founder of Randfontein Meals on Wheels, René Theunissen, this organisation has 406 food preparation venues in South Africa and currently delivers over 14 million home made meals to needy people per year.
“We are so excited about opening our doors in Randfontein.
“We have already identified 320 needy people in Randfontein who will receive a daily meal from the beginnning of July,” says René.
Meals on Wheels’ main focus is based on feeding needy elderly people as well as children in the community.
The staff of this organisation prepares a well-balanced home made meal for the needy and then delivers it to their doorstep.
“We are also planning to work hand in hand with other NGO’s.
“By doing this we can do more and help each other in the tough times we live in,” says René.
