The Randfontein Local Municipality has announced another power outage that is to hit the town on 14 July.

The outage will be effective from 7.30am until 8pm and residents are urged to prepare themselves ahead of time.
According to Randfontein Local Municipality Director of Infrastructure Nokwazi Ndlala, this is just a routine maintenance procedure and residents need not panic.
Areas that will be affected by the outage are portions of Greenhills, Homelake, Robin Park, Bongweni Village, the Central
Business District (CBD) as well areas from Uncle Harry’s up to Sutherland Street.
“We do apologise for the inconvenience, but the maintenance needs to go ahead as planned in order to ensure minimal problems this winter as there is a huge demand for electricity throughout town,” says Ndlala.
