Westonaria SAPS has asked for the assistance of the community in locating this dangerous rapist.
The Westonaria Police have launched a manhunt for three suspects who attacked and raped a woman in the presence of her brother in a veld in Westonaria.
The woman and her brother were walking home when the incident occurred.
One of the suspects emerged and grabbed the woman by the hand and dragged her into the bushes while the brother was attacked and assaulted by the other two suspects.
The suspect who had grabbed the woman instructed her to undress herself and he raped her.
Then one of the other suspects also raped the woman.
According to Westonaria SAPS spokesperson Constable Thembi Masango, the suspects instructed both the girl and her brother to walk in front of them and not look back, threatening to shoot them if they should.
“After some time, the suspects ordered the two to run home and not look back,” says Masango.
She adds that the suspects fled from the scene on foot.
