Randfontein Primary School is proud to announce their new Representative Council of Learners (RCL) to the community and looks forward to see the success these pupils achieve as part of the RCL.
According to one of the teachers at the school, Aithne Prins, the RCL consists of 40 Grade 7 pupils who will lead the school by setting the perfect example.
These 40 pupils were chosen at the end of the 2013 school term and started their reign as RCL at the beginning of the 2014 school year.
Out of these 40 pupils, an executive committee of 10 pupils were chosen.
“Each of these 10 pupils has to manage a portfolio in the school,” says Aithne.
These pupils are Reshoketswe Nape – Culture, Moreme Mmola – Sport, Ayanda Bane – Pupil Affairs, Talliah de Waal – Academics, Tristhan Miller – Deputy Head Boy, Ree Bok – Head Boy, Imelda Luthers – Head Girl, Anita Ricardo – Deputy Head Girl, Hutaifah Choonara – Treasurer and Lesego Semeno – Secratary.
“We are really proud of these pupils and look forward to work with them for the year to come.
“We also wish you luck and trust that you will set a great example for your fellow pupils,” says Aithne.
