Women’s Health Talk empowers Jan Viljoen girls
Young women at Jannas were encouraged to break the silence around issues affecting their lives and to recognise the importance of seeking support and caring for their overall well-being.
Grade 10 and 11 girls at Hoërskool Jan Viljoen High School recently took part in a Women’s Health Talk held in honour of Women’s Month.

Various stakeholders engaged with the learners on topics relating to their mental and emotional well-being, personal experiences, healing and the challenges young women face.

The session provided a safe space for the girls to listen, learn and engage on issues that affect them, while encouraging them to speak up, seek support and prioritise their well-being.
