Two men arrested after botched robbery

The suspects were identified with their clothing and later apprehended.

Two men were caught and arrested after a botched house breaking incident at a Kameel Street home in Greenhills on 16 March at approximately 1.27pm

According to EPR operations manager Mac van Zyl, EPR received a panic signal from one of their clients and immediately dispatched reaction officers to the scene.

“Our officers responded to the alarm and upon arrival, they were informed that two suspects had fled with stolen property from the house.

“Fortunately, the suspects were identified from their clothing and the officers were able to look for them in that way.

“The officers were also informed in which direction the suspects had fled and immediately went in search for the two,” says van Zyl.

“Officers spotted the men a short while later and immediately apprehended them.

“They were then handed over to the police.”
