Have you seen Max and Ulie?

Max and Ulie have been missing for nine days, but their owners believe they are hot on their trail.

Allen’s Nek resident Dianne Sandenergh is sick with worry after her two boerboels got out of their yard on 26 May.

They Sandenberghs have spared no effort or expense to find the dogs and their search has led them to Randfontein.

According to Sandenbergh, an extensive search has seen many community members call them with tips as to where their dogs were spotted.

“We know that they were in the Witpoortjie/ Mindalore area a few days ago,” says Sandenbergh.

“We never thought that they would be able to get as far as Randfontein, but according to information we have received from people who spotted them, that;s exactly what they did.”

Sandenbergh says that although they look the part, these are not guard dogs, but house dogs.

“We have had them for 10 years and they are a part of our family.

“We would do anything to get them back.”

The search for the missing boerboels Max and Ulie seems to have grabbed the attention of people across the West Rand and it seems everywhere you go, the missing dogs come up in conversations.

The Sandenbergh family are offering R5 000 reward for any information that may lead the the return of their beloved animals.

Anyone with any information on their whereabouts is urged to call Dianne or Mariaan at 082 788  1682 or 082 468 3668.
