RCA celebrates Ascension day

Pupils from Randfontein Christian Academy celebrates Ascension day by building an altar for their King.

The pupils of Randfontein Christian Academy (RCA) decided to commemorate Ascension Day by building an altar on their school premises.

According to the principal RCA Retha Maré, Ascension Day took place on 29 May and the pupils of RCA were asked to each bring a stone with their name on it to school.

“The pupils then used these stones to build an altar on our new school premises.

“The altar will be a permanent part of our school and will always remind us of the sacrifice God made for our sins,” says Maré.

During the unveiling of the altar, Pastor Justin Dreyer also brought a message regarding Ascension Day.

“All the pupils of RCA enjoyed the event and will now remember the great revelation surrounding Ascension Day,” says Maré.
