Westonaria Borwa project delivers 177 homes to families this month

The latest handover brings the number of homes allocated at the Westonaria Borwa Mega Project this month to 177, giving qualifying families a place to call home.

Gauteng MEC for Human Settlements Tasneem Motara handed over 73 houses to qualifying beneficiaries at the Westonaria Borwa Mega Project in Rand West City Local Municipality on Thursday, August 20.

The handover forms part of the provincial government’s ongoing efforts to provide dignified housing to qualifying residents and expand access to secure homes within the municipality. With the latest handover, a total of 177 houses have been allocated at the Westonaria Borwa Mega Project during August.

The beneficiaries received their new homes as the provincial Department of Human Settlements continues to make progress with housing delivery at the mega project.
