Municipality ends Youth Month with a bang

The Randfontein Local Municipality made a decision to end off Youth Month with a bang and held a soccer and netball tournament for four Mohlakeng high schools.

The four participating schools were Lukhanyo High School, Phahama Secondary School, AB Phokompe Secondary School and Thuto Lehakwe Secondary School.

The the soccer was held at the AB Phokompe Secondary School and the netball was held at the Mohlakeng Tennis Courts. Present on the day was a mobile health unit that tested pupils and visitors’ blood pressure in the spirit of sports and healthy living.

Food parcels were handed out to all pupils and officials once the tournament reached it’s end.
